The theme for the DC Listening Lounge's annual Sound Scene 2013 Interactive Audio Installation extravaganza totally fantastic awesome-time is.....
"(mixed)Signals"
That's right folks, in the grand tradition of DCLL Sound Scene themes that theme can mean different things to different people. Whatever you're thinking is RIGHT! This is your chance to get crazy creative and put together an audio piece, toy, game, exhibit, questionnaire, performance---whatever inspires you and can inspire others in the DC area to think about sound (and (mixed)Signals) differently then they ever have before.

RIGHT NOW: hit reply, and write down the first three ideas that come to mind. then press send.
Next: spend a few days envisioning how to make those little sprouts of ideas blossom into a beautiful audio garden...or at least consider what would be cool.
THIRD : more practically: do you want to do a larger installation? Do you want to use an entire classroom for this project alone? are you thinking of piece that is best heard with headphones? do you want to include a video projection? do you want it to be motion sensor triggered? is it fun for little kids? Is it better for adults?
If you have an idea already, write 2-3 sentences about what you hope for
